What is a financial foundation? Where does it actually begin?
A solid financial foundation starts with learning long before a dollar is ever invested, saved, or spent. Many people will tell you to "start a budget," "build an emergency fund," or "save 10%." Those can all be good actions. The problem is that, by themselves, they lack purpose. They answer what to do, but not why. They also do little to help someone understand what money actually is, how our monetary system works, or what truly creates wealth.
A proper financial foundation begins with understanding, learning, and gaining wisdom. Only then should we evaluate systems and actions that put money to work—not simply chase financial products.
